Exhibit Space and Archives of the Ravena-Coeymans Historical Society
Herbal medicines and remedies are far from being a new concept. The Capital Region, especially, was known for creating not only Shaker herbal medicines and cottage-industry pill boxes, but also a wide array of local brands.
Ravena and Coeymans were centers of industry for all sorts of commercial products that were imported and exported through the railroad that once connected Albany to Buffalo.
